WesternPulps mailing list
This mailing list, moderated by author James Reasoner, is a Yahoo Groups list dedicated to the discussion of Western pulp magazines -- the characters, the authors, the stories, the paperback reprints, and anything else connected with Western pulps. Although the primary emphasis is on pulps, the membership also discusses non-pulp Western novels, movies, comics, even video games -- any- and everything Western that's under the sun. A friendly group whose discussions might remind you of a fun conversation around the campfire. Old-timers and new fans alike get along very well in this list.

Black Horse Westerns
Adam Wright, one of the writers of books published by Black Horse Westerns, an imprint of the British firm of Robert Hale, has put together a site devoted to that imprint, its authors and artists. The Black Horse Westerns keep alive the pulp tradition in its western novels, and pulp fans will find interviews with Black Horse authors and more info at the site. http://website.lineone.net/~adam_and_lynne/index.html

I'm looking for the value of some of the Pulp old books from the 40's, looking to sell them
Thank You Don Hazen

Dear Don- I would take a look at EBAY under "Books" then look for "Magazines Back Issues". Most 40's Western pulp magazines run in the $5 to $10 range, unless you have a highly col-
lectable author. Also condition is huge. The mags
should have the covers and spines in tact to be worth anything. Good Luck.
