[[ Note: The "Texan Wasp" stories, were written between 1923-25, when Dwyer and his wife (literary agent, [Catherine] Galbraith Welch), traveled widely throughout Europe, Mid-East, Africa, etc., producing a private subscription travel newsletter. He secured a contract with the editor of POPULAR to write a story for every issue of the twice-a-month magazine set in the city/country he was visiting. This helped to defray travel costs and pay for the secretary who helped produce the newsletter.) This data from author's autobiography, "Leg-Irons On Wings".]]
